The location of the hotel is very convenient, right next to
Calais centre and within easy reach of the ferry port. The room was spacious and clean, and it was especially nice to have tea and coffee facilities. some areas of the hotel feel a bit worn and could use refreshing.

Packed with surprises – Good and Bad
Receptionist was incredibly helpful and friendly, making check-in a breeze! Plus, the secure car park is a huge bonus for peace of mind and ease of access! !
Sadly, room amenities are lacking! I found the TV remote was malfunctioning, and the bathroom really needs a deep clean to feel more welcoming.

Nice surprise near the ferry!
Given that we had low expectations after a previous experience, staying here was quite a pleasant surprise! Our room was notably clean, with fresh linen and tea-making facilities, and the staff were very courteous throughout our stay. The restaurant served a surprisingly delicious evening meal, enhancing our overall experience. the building's exterior could use some refreshing.

The location offers excellent access to the nearby retail parks and the channel tunnel, making it convenient for travelers. Rooms are basic yet remarkably clean, and the evening meal served at the hotel was both delicious and a great value. some amenities needed attention. for example, a couple of lights and the remote were malfunctioning. the limited selection of food options nearby, particularly on Sundays, could be frustrating for late arrivals.

missingWrote a review on 13 Juncomfortable bedsferry proximitytired rooms
The beds offer comfort, making it a decent spot for a night’s rest after long travels. Proximity to ferry transport makes it a strategic choice for anyone looking to hop across the channel quickly.
Rooms definitely feel tired, with peeling paint and worn furniture showing their age. The bathrooms could use an upgrade, as discolored tiles give an outdated vibe. While the restaurant serves a decent breakfast, the limited selection doesn’t quite cut it for a full meal. there were a few noise disturbances at night from the car park, which might disrupt light sleepers.

I stumbled upon Friterie le Chalet and indulged in their mouthwatering fries – crispy, fluffy perfection that took my taste buds on a joyride! Plus, the location is fab—just a hop from the ferry. The bed in my room was comfy enough for an easy snooze, a blessing after a long day of travel.
The musty smell lurking in the room hit me when I opened the door. The floor tiles needed some major TLC, and those missing shelves in the wardrobe left everything cluttered. It felt like every corner could use a bit of a tidy-up.
